Power Automate Error: Flow Exceeds Max Permitted Size Limit

I have a flow I've been using for 2 years now that has 38 subflows of about 50 lines of code and total 96 variables.  All it does is copy/paste between an Access database and web pages for job postings.  Nothing big.  Nothing fancy.

With the latest update, I'm getting an error: The flow can't be saved because it exceeds the maximum permitted size limit. This is usually due to the number and size of captured images and screenshots in the flow. Consider dividing the flow in multiple flows to divide the images as well or remove any images that may not be needed to decrease the flow size.

While the flow does include hypertext links to images, it doesn't copy or store any image files.  Just text.  I tried streamlining and moving some of the subflows into another flow, but it still won't save changes.  Anyone else seen this and found a way to get it to work?

(Or is it like renaming UI Elements - an LOL embarrassment?)

Quick update:  I removed all unused UI elements and was able to save it.  Looks like somewhere in there was the issue.

Problem keeps recurring.  All I can find for help is "break it into multiple flows" and it's because you're copying a lot of images.  (I'm not copying any images/screenshots).  Would LOVE any advice on how to troubleshoot this.  Why don't they tell you the size of whatever you have set for variables to find the "leak," etc... very frustrating.

I have the same error in my Power Automate Desktop flow. The first version of flow was working fine but after the v2 schema update the flow started to show this message and don't let to save changes. I tried to create a new flow but after a few subflows show the same message again. I understand that maximum size of flow in v2 schema is 10MB but this would be a problem in flows with large subtasks and code lines.
