File identifier from a create file card

Hi all,

I have a flow which in part populates a word template, saves it, then converts this word document to a PDF.

I would like to delete the word document once this is complete, as it no longer serves any purpose.

I am struggling with the "File Identifier" field of the delete file card.

I have tried "Path", "Id" and "ItemID" in this field with varying errors. Is there a way to populate this dynamically without having the use a "Get File Properties" card?

This flow is already unreasonably long and complicated, I don't want to add any more!!

Thankyou for assistance!

    Hi @Tjeremiah :

    The correct parameter is "identifier".

I've made a test for your reference:

    Thankyou @v-bofeng-msft .

My issue is that the "Get file properties" card in my screen shot refers to a different file, and I am attempting to avoid adding another one purely so I can delete the target file.

Is there a way to use an expression to obtain the required "Identifier" value with only the "Create File"?

    Hi @Tjeremiah :

I’m afraid the answer is ‘No.The return value of 'Create File' does not contain the parameter ‘identifier’. At present, I can only suggest you to consider adding another "Get file properties" to get the ‘identifier’ of this file. Some thing like:
