Adding Searched Items to Collection Breaks Buttons

Hello, I am new to PowerApps and have an issue where the buttons that I have to add and remove items to a "cart" are not working properly when added while an item is selected under the Search function. Is there a way to tie each item in a Gallery to a specific ID that when added and removed from the cart, it searches that specific ID?

    Typically, for a "shopping cart" app, selected Items are added to or removed from a collection based on a gallery displaying the items.  When the user is finished shopping, they then submit their choices.  To assist with the selection process, a temporary ID can be assigned to each item so that it can be removed if the user changes their mind.  @RandyHayes posted a nice solution here that uses the Sequence() function :   https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Using-Sequence-As-Counter-For-Record-Field-in-Collection/td-p/755831
