How to change the date format of the csv file?

Hi,

I've created a flow in order to convert an xls into a csv.

However the date format is either a serial number or a ISO 8601 format.

How can I change into MM/DD/YYYY format?

Set the output from Excel to be ISO 8601.  Then use a Data Select action to select the columns you want to be in the array used to create the CSV.  In the Data Select you can format the date column using the FormatDateTime() function to output it the way you want it in the CSV.  Then use the results from the data select to create the csv.  The Data Select also lets you pick which columns you want included.

I guess I'm making some mistakes. It returns an error.

You need to use a Data Select action to apply the formatting.  You don't do it directly in the CSV.  Something more like this.

    Hi,

what shall I write in the field: formatDateTime('???','MM/dd/yyyy') ?

Item('FieldName') - just replace Field name with whatever the column name is.  If in doubt insert it first without the formatDateTime using the dynamic content dialog.  Then hover over it to get the JSON representation.

As Item('FieldName'), do you mean the field where is written "Enter key" or the "Enter value"?

I don't understand what shall in those fields.

    Thanks!

As it shows in my screenshot the formula with the field goes in the Enter value column.  The Enter Key column is used for a text value that is a label for the column name.

    Hello,

I have the same problem, and have treid different tings the last 3 days, but i can't figure it out. I'm Stuck!

I tried your version and also this give me an error.

Every thing I have tried failed, only one fomat diden't fail. But the flow did convert it but the result in my CSV file didn't.

My flow take the information from an attached PDF file and put it in a Excel Workbook, In the Workbook I translate the information to another sheet. The "New Sheet "ScanX PDF." Then I take the "ScanX PDF" Sheet and convert it to a semicolon CSV file. The only thing I need to finish is to get the Date correctly. I need it to say dd-MM-yyyy HH:mm, but I really need som help to get to the finish line.

A nich finish will be to name the CSV fil as referanceNo insted of the Attached file, but I can't get it to work.

    My flow:
