Power Automate to Create a new SharePoint Discussion

Hi,

Is there a work-around for updating the Created By person in Power Automate for a Discussion Board.

We have ours set up so the fill out an MS Form.

The Power Automate sends that to the Discussion Board.

But unlike when we create an item in a regular SharePoint list in this manner, it is using my info as the creator and not the person who submitted the form.

I cannot seem to find a work-around for this.

I hope someone out there has a solution

There is a way to do it via the API (send http command to sharepoint I think it is). This link is for updating a sharepoint list item, but the same logic should work for other objects, just a matter of finding the right API endpoint for it, via google

Hi, thanks for responding. I never could figure it out, so I changed what I was doing with the discussion board.
