cloud flow step pending long time(more than 12 hours)

Hi,

I have a cloud flow step pending long time, more than 12 hours, I try to click the last step to see more details but nothing.

it runs well before, can someone help advise? thanks!

Hey @lion

Same thing was happening for me as well. My flow ran fine 5 times and when it went to 6th run it started throttling. So, in your case as well its throttling.

There is one bad thing about power automate, till the apply to each step does not finish we cannot even see inside whats happening.

There would be a step/action in your flow which is throttling your entire flow.

Can you share your flow in edit mode, lets see what is the scope of improvement.

Final verdict can only be given when the flow run finishes. So let it run, I hope it finishes till tomorrow 😂.

And as soon as it finishes check yourself what is the problem and add screenshot here as well.

Hi Malik, thanks for the info, the flow was run to success now. you are right, the stop step was included some sub-steps, if all the sub-steps not complete, we can't see the inside steps detail, below screen is the inside steps, please help review and input if any, thanks!

Hey @lion

So, as you can see there is a start and wait for an approval(process) action there, which took 3 days. The person might have approved it after 3 days. Thats why it took 3 days. Is there a possibility that the approver approved it before or maybe you as you have created the flow. So according to me its working as expected.

And one more suggestion, Its upto you to follow it or not. On the if no side of the condition you have used send an email notification v3, but I will suggest you to use send an email v2 of office outlook connector as v3 has a limitation like it can only send 100 mails per day and v2 can send 900 mails every 60 seconds. Plus, v3 has not been performing well from many months that is the service keeps going down and mails are not sent.

Please reply about the approval part.
