Adding additional parallel branch to a flow

I have a flow that uses parallel branches to perform tasks and then rejoins to the main branch once it completes the individual parallel branches. I want to add a new parallel branch but don't get that option. See image below. I want to add a fourth parallel branch after the Set Variable action. How do I do this? As you can see the only option I have is Add an action.

Are you sure you are clicking the + above the branch and not the one below it?  You only get the add a parallel outside of the parallel branches.  The add buttons are very close, but only one will let you add a parallel branch.

Thanks for replying but unfortunately I have tried that numerous times and it never comes up. I have tried adding an action to the end of the flow and then going back to this point and trying to add a parallel branch and don't get that option.

You are in the right spot.  Sometimes I've noticed that the option to add a parallel branch doesn't always popup like it should.  Try clicking on another spot where you could add a branch and then go back to this one.  It should give you the option.
