Since this morning some apps with components are failing when OnReset has to run, I'm having this problem with all the apps which have components, anyone else is having this nightmare?

Yes we have come across the same problem, occurring this morning.

We have found that OnReset is triggered within the components however global variables are not getting set in the code, even though "Access app scope" is switched on.

It looks like this is due to a new Authoring Version 3.23022.21 being pushed to our tenant which is a Preview release, whenever we open up a Canvas app in Edit mode it automatically applies this version?

If you roll back the Authoring Version of your canvas app to 3.23021.21 it works fine again for us, which is ok but not a great solution if you have to do this every time.

We are going to check with MS to see if there is a feature or something that needs to be switched on/off or it is just a bug.

I'm on 3.23022.21 and I'm seeing only two options 3.23023.11 and 3.23022.21. I tried 3.23022.21 with no diference.

What authoring version options they offer you are a bit of black magic as we see different rollback version on different applications?

However it looks like you have tried the same version again 😀 (3.23022.21), probably a mistype. If it is not a mistype I would try 3.23023.11 to see if it works.

If not I would try another app that isnt working and see if you get the other versions listed, I would say rollback to any version other than the one with the issue to see if it works.

Regardless this is only a workaround and temporary:
We need a response/fix from MS on this as it seems like a bug that would affect most canvas apps.

Yes, mistype.. I tried the two versions I can choose and the result was the same.

And I have these two only options in any app I check. Probabbly has something to do with region (South America)

I hope MS has seen this bug and bring up a solution. Thanks anyway.

We are working on fixing this issue. Until then you can use 3.23021.21 as a workaround to author the app.

OnReset issue has been fixed in version 3.23022.25

Thanks, Update to 3.23022.25 solve the problem. OnReset is working again.
