Power Automate - Building Flows

Gateway Power Automate

Posted on by 119
So, i have a flow that runs correctly that has a File System connector "When a file is created" which uses a gateway that i have installed on my laptop.

The workflow runs fine when I have my laptop running when either I or a colleague adds a file to that shared network drive.

But when i turn off my laptop the flow doesn't run at all. What actions or steps do i need to take to ensure that this workflow runs even if my laptop is turned off?

The server is basically a computer on your local network that runs 24/7.

    That doesn’t sound surprising

Install the gateway on a server that runs 24/7 (or at least when you expect file creations)
