As you can see below, the PaddingLeft setting is ignored in view mode for a text input.
Hi @Meneghino,
I actually have the Paddingleft works with below setting:
I can see the text moving to right when I adding the number here.

Hi @v-monli-msft
Are you sure the text input is in View DisplayMode and not Edit?
The setting works in edit but not in view mode, that is the problem.
In View mode, input controls such as Text input, Drop down, Date Picker will only display the text value and will not render any interactive elements or decorations. This makes them suitable to be displayed in Forms or as readable output.

I understand, but there is a bug. There is the following bug:
This is a bug, I have a screenshot in a previous post.
Please report this bug.
Many thanks.
I've passed this information to the owner of that control. I agree that it seems wrong to have the design properties not being honored in the view mode (especially since the top/bottom padding is working correctly on that mode). It should be fixed in an upcoming release.
Just to update this thread, the fix for the text input padding has been released on the studio version 2.0.71x.
The bug is still there, and we are in 2023...
April 2024, and this is still an issue.
