Using plus sign in decodeURIComponent ('+')

Hello community,
I am having an issue with decodeURIComponent. Seems that it ignores "+" sign in a string.

I have this string
"https://stracloud.sharepoint.com/sites/Jakub/Shared%20Documents/Aplikace/Microsoft%20Forms/plus%20makes%20+%20problems.jpg"

after decoding
"plus" disappears and is replaced with " " so there are 3 spaces right now
https://stracloud.sharepoint.com/sites/Jakub/Shared Documents/Aplikace/Microsoft Forms/plus makes   problems.jpg

decodinguricomponent works fine in chrome console with "+" sign.

Any ideas?

    Hi

    If I have understood correctly, you want to extract the filename from the URL, so the filename
    Plus%20makes%20+%20problems.jpg is returned as Plus makes + problems

    Here is one method using "Send an HTTP request to SharePoint" action to retrieve the actual filename:

    Copy-and-paste the following:
    _api/web/GetFileByServerRelativeUrl('@{uriPath(variables('filePath'))}')/Name/$Value

    "+" has a special meaning in urls. It's an encodig for a space. Therfore function decodeUriComponent() works as expecrted (imho).

    You can solve your issue by replacing "+" with "%2B" before decoding:

    decodeUriComponent(
    	replace(
    		outputs('Compose'),
    		'+', '%2B'
    	)
    )
