Document Automation with Text Recognition model

Hello,

I want to use the Text Recognition OCR model with document automation kits. I only see integration with invoice prebuilt model and with custom models. How can modify the document automation kits to use it with the Text Recognition (OCR) model?

Hi @Diallom ! Do I understand from your description that you want an approval app for OCR extracted text? I've been working with the document automation kit a lot recently and in order to change up the document automation kit requires quite some work. So it's important to first understand your goal! 😄

Hi Diallom,

The kit doesn't support this yet.

It has been build to be generic for any custom document or invoice processing model and thus it is highly variabilized but you could build something simpler.

I would recommend to build your own version of the Document Automation Application and Document Automation flows taking inspiration on the kit.

Just open the solution package and try to adjust the components to align your need. You can for instance add new steps/actions to flow, or even create a new flow to extract text using your Text Recognition model.
