Power Automate machine runtime not working

Hi,

I created a desktop flow in PAD and now I would like to include it in a new Power Automate flow (instant cloud flow) but I can't since it looks like I have to access to Power Automate machine runtime. When I try to open Power automate machine runtime it looks like the app isn't working because it's blocked in this step:

Can't figure out how can I solve the problem. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I have the same question (0)

Make sure all of the Power Automate services are running on your machine. There should be 4. Try restarting them.

If this fails, try restarting your machine and/or re-installing Power Automate Desktop.

Also, do you have a Power Automate Premium license or a trial license? This is needed to be able to use desktop flows together with cloud flows.

Thanks for your reply. Can you please specify what are the 4 Power Automate services that I should have on my machine please? Moreover, if I re-install it I don't take the risk of losing the flows that I've already created right?

To answer your question, I have the Premium trial license.

If you are on a Premium license, your flows are not stored locally. They are in the cloud. So, uninstalling/re-installing PAD on your machine does not affect them.

I'm currently afk and I don't remember them all by heart, but it's 4 services with names that all start with "Power Automate".

There definitely is one called "Power Automate service". The others are called something like "Power Automate agent launcher service", "Power Automate log-shipper service" and "Power Automate update service". Might actually be named something else, but they're similar to this.

Thank you so much. I'll try to check if Power Automate has been correctly installed with all the services

It looks like I only have Power Automate and Power Automate machine runtime since as I was searching for the other ones couldn't find them. Should I reinstall my packages?

Services are not applications. Click on Start and type in Services. Or go to Run and type in Services.msc. You'll find the list of services running on your machine there. Try looking for Power Automate services there and make sure that they all have a status "Running".

It looks like I have the 4 of them among the services (Local). The problem might be related to the installation then?

You could try to use the Troubleshoot functionality in the Power Automate machine runtime app (top left). If that doesn't help, try reinstalling Power Automate Desktop.
