Share entire solution

Hi All,

I'm working on a solution with multiple flows and environment variables. I need to share this with a colleague so we can work in it together.

I can share individual flows but that's time consuming and I can't share the variables. Is there anyway to share the entire solution?

Thank you

    @wyattdave

If you and your colleague are working in the same environment then they would be able to access the solution directly from the environment and would also be able to see the resources present in the solution.

If you both are working on different environment then you can simply export the solution as unmanaged and share it with your colleague so that they can import it in their environment and start working.

Please check the document share for steps on exporting the solution

    Hi Gopal,

Thank you for assistance, we both have access to same environment and he can see the solution but only the flows I have directly shared with him. Could this be a security level issue, what group level would he require?

@wyattdave have you been able to solve this? I have the same problem.
    Thank you for your feedback.

Afraid not, the only ways I found to do it were to share each flow/app or give them environment admin level (not great as they have full access to change the environment)

Wish Microsoft would just create share with button for the solution and make

     things easy

    Hello,

This is happening due the roles each user has assigned. For example, if my user has Environment Maker role, this give access to create and see connection references, but just see the one I have created.

If anyone is still struggling this I found a way by going through the legacy Advanced Settings. Full explanation here: https://dev.to/wyattdave/how-to-change-solution-owner-in-the-power-platform-1jnb

If anyone else is having this issue I created a Chrome Extension that shares/changes owner to an entire solution.

@wyattdave You are the Best! Deserve a lot more than a like. Thank you for your very easy to use extention. You saved me a lot of time. I used the edge add on and it was seamless.
