Can't find my Group ID. How do I create a task in my private tasks?

I am trying to create a task in my private tasks, and it keeps asking for my Group ID. This isn't a Team that I'm on, it's just my own plan in my own environment. I have tried copy and pasting the Id from the end of the url and pasting it as a custom value, but it's still not popping up.

The Group ID is only really used to get a list of Plan IDs to show a user friendly list in the Plan ID dropdown.  If you have the actual plan ID you can enter that into the Plan ID dropdown using the custom value entry.  Then do the same thing for the group ID.  You can use any value there at this point. I normally just use a space.  It doesn't like a null but anything else works.

I've added blanks for the Group ID and entered Plan ID and I'm still getting this error:

Where did you pull the planID from?  Are you sure its the right ID.  It should be a long number like the one in the Group ID field in your first screenshot.  The error is suggesting that you are using an invalid Plan ID or one that you don't have access to.

When you say private tasks are you in Planner or ToDo?  ToDo has its own actions for Creating Tasks.  It doesn't ask for a PlanID, so I assume you are doing it through planner.  But I don't think you can create your own private tasks in Planner.
