HI,

I am getting increasing issues with Power automate, these are mainly around Excel online connectors and that they keep on “dropping” out.

Also, I have received this type of error :-

“Flow save failed with code 'DynamicOperationRequestClientFailure' and message 'The dynamic operation request to API 'excelonlinebusiness' operation 'GetTable' failed with status code '429'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "statusCode": 429, "message": "Rate limit is exceeded. Try again in 9 seconds." }'.”

Seems to imply a limit? Or fault at the Excel online end. Any ideas?

This is a API limit that has been reached in your flow.

On the action that is giving this error. Follow the below steps:

Click the 3 dots on the action that is giving the 429 error

Next, click settings

Now look for retry settings, and configure as follows:

Type: Fixed Interval

Count: 50

Interval: PT10S

Thank you for this, I came up with the same solution. (10 retries, 1 minute appart) that has resolved my issue.
