Power Apps: Issue with box-shadow and screen sizing

Hello,

 

I am very new to PowerApps and I am building an app to link forms that we use to SharePoint lists, and while trying to work on adjusting screen size to fit mobile devices, I turned off "Lock Aspect Ration". In doing so - it now hides the "HTML Text" that I use to apply a box shadow on my buttons. Any ides why this may be?

 

Also, if anyone has insight into screen sizing tips for my app (It is strictly a phone app) so that the site can fill the screen fully, that would be great.

 

Any help would be wonderful.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

     

    If you are developing Canvas app and choose the Phone layout so I am not sure why you need to adjust the screen size?

    The issue that I was seeing was black spaces at the top and bottom of my app on an iPhone 11 pro. I was not sure if there was a solution (though after research I have not seen any possible solutions). The main issue is the box shadow of my buttons disappearing when I turn "Lock Aspect Ration" off.
