Conversion to PDF as part of the flow

Good day!

Question: I have the attached flow set up and was wondering if it possible to have PDF created after step "Start and Wait for an approval" and then get that PDF sent as part of last step.

    Yes, its definitely possible. I assume you want to create a PDF of the form responses.  To do that you need to create a full HTML document in a string variable. Then you can create a file and convert it to a PDF.

    Would you be able to direct me where I can find a way to do it? 🙂

    Here's a video by Shane Young that talks about how to convert an HTML file to PDF. Just replace the section where he is creating a table with the values from the form. PowerApps PDF Generator using Microsoft Flow PDF Converter - YouTube

    Thank you!

    I managed to set up File Creation and it gets saved in OneDrive.

    How can I attach that file that was just created to the email?

    I have below set up but I feel like something is missing before Send Email.

    In your case you don't actually need the last step to save it to OneDrive. Creating the file will give you dynamic content that is the property of the file. You used that to save the file to OneDrive. Just use that as the content for the Attachment content in the email instead.

    @vkhro724

    If you're not comfortable with HTML / need different formatting or to process updates in future, I usually recommend populating a word document instead.

    It goes through but when email comes the i get an error from Adobe that the file can't be opened. I tried other formats as well and none of them open when email comes through.

    It worked for saving to OneDrive though and files get saved there.

    Just not going through as attachment.

    Would it be the same flow and just different file format?

    Are you using the new designer or the legacy designer? There is currently a bug in the new designer when adding attachments that corrupts the file content. Switch to the legacy designer and try that. If it works saving the file to OneDrive it should work saving the file as an attachment.
