I have created a custom connector where my actions and policies work fine, however, I don't appear to be able to add triggers. The option where it should be is just not there. Do I need a particular license type to add triggers or is there something I am missing?

looking into your post, it looks like you're an issue adding a trigger to a custom connector. A premium license is required in order to access all premium and custom connectors:
