Anyone have experience building a power app backed by multiple files? or Print directly from a power app

I am looking to build a power app that reads and pulls data from multiple excel files. Basically an excel file per entry. You could use the app the create new and edit the excel file (add/remove rows etc.)

My main reason for this is because i need to be able to print the data. I could do tables in dataverse, but eventually i would need to get those to files to print. So I was hoping to just work directly with the files.

An alternative would be to figure out how I could print from a power app directly, but I have not been able to figure that out either. Especially if i need the print to have a specific format.

Hi @jefftaste ,

You can do a new Printable Screen and print from that. Also you need to realise the (rather substantial) limitations of using Excel as a data source.

I just came across print() and the whole printable screen thing. It must be something new since the last time I looked at it.

I am aware of drawback to excel as a data source, but for what i was needing my end result needed to be a bunch of individual excel files. However, if I can get a printable screen working, then no need. I can create a printable screen that would print the data which would have been in an excel file anyway. So it looks like this is the route I will be exploring, thanks.
