Using 'Start and wait for Approval' Flow and want to replicate functionality in-app

I am using the 'Start and wait for approval' action in my flow, this sends an email to the approver notifying them, giving a link to the request and the option to approve the request via email. Is there a method to replicating this functionality so the approver can also approve/reject the request in the app, or comments sidebar?

I would like it if I could have buttons that replicate the functionality in the app or the comments section on the right hand side below:

I would not be able to use SPFx or anything like that to customise the page

If that is a SharePoint list, then you could use native approvals within the list itself. It requires no SPFX to do so. :-)

Otherwise, I believe that Microsoft is currently rolling out the Teams/Power Platform approvals to SharePoint, and you should be seeing that functionality easily accessed within the SharePoint GUI, too.

All that said, this is possibly more of a question for a SharePoint community (if that is a list and list comments) ... have you tried asking in the Microsoft SharePoint community?

Thanks for the reply, it's possibly better placed in the SharePoint forums. I think for now we will just stick with the email approvals and wait to see if functionality is improved
