Help with error code: Flow save failed with code 'WorkflowOperationParametersExtraParameter' and message 'The API operation does not contain a definition for parameter 'item/1.2.2024 Ad week'.'.

I have a work flow set up to take answers from a Microsoft Form and add a new row into an excel document. The columns in the excel document match the questions on the Microsoft Form. The flow was working perfectly, but once I moved the excel file to a new location on my shared drive, I started getting the above error, even though I've adjusted the file location on each step of the flow. Every step of the flow works perfectly, except the "add a new row" step which requires me to set parameters. Any time I try to correct the parameters (which were automatically deleted upon moving the file) and save the flow I receive an error. Hope this was a thorough explanation. Thanks!

    Hi @ejdickerson ,

This happens because the action definition doesn't contain the new table definition in the new location.  Delete the action completely and re-add vs. updating the location.  Works in testing!

    Good morning @trice602 ,

I took the following steps as suggested:

    1. Renamed the table to make sure Automated flow is properly receiving data from excel document

    2. Deleted the step "Add a new row into table"

    3. Readded the step "Add a new row into table"

    4. Filled in parameters.

Upon doing this, I still received the same error. I should also mention that this only happens with specific questions on the form which are dates such as "1/2/2024 Selections", "1/9/2024 Selections:, etc.

Some of the parameters work and save properly but those will not, even though in the past before the document was moved, they did. Thanks!

    Hi @ejdickerson

Here you have a similar question and how it was solved: Solved: ERROR MESSAGE: Flow save failed with code 'Workflo... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

It seems that field should be deleted and readded again in Excel.

    Hope it helps!
