Get User Profile - User Not Found

Hi All,

Can one of you guide me to understand the issue.

My Flow starts with a "For a selected file" trigger.

Then comes the action 'Get_user_profile_(V2)'

I tried using the flow with my credentials, get user profile works very well. no issues.
When my coworker tries to run the flow, get user profile failed. Error " User Not Found"

Can one of you figure the problem here?

Thanks

    Hi @cadone

    That's maybe your coworker uses his/her own connection for Power Automate and trys to get a user's profile whose email domain name is not the same as his/her own connection's email domain name.

    If the user wants to get a user's profile, then his/her connection must use the same domain name as that of 'User(UPN)' in 'Get User Profile'.

    For example, if one's connection uses user1@domain.com as the email address, then the 'User(UPN)' must be ***@domain.com.

    If the problem still exists, please feel free to let me know.

    Get User Profile - User Not Found
    In the failed run, when you check the inputs of the failed Get User Profile action do you see an expected username for your coworker? If it won't show the inputs, put a Compose action prior to Get User Profile with the same data you're dropping into the Get User Profile action and have your coworker try it again, knowing it will fail. The failed run should have the necessary information in the Compose action's outputs.

    This will allow you to see exactly what credentials your coworker is providing and allow you to debug the faulty interaction.

    With the SharePoint trigger, if you are directly using user email in the get profile action, it generally uses a base 64 encoded value for the email. Can you try this expression in your get profile action:

    triggerOutputs()['headers']['x-ms-user-email']

    Hope this Helps!
