Save csv table (or json) into excel

I am having a workflow that is receiving data converts the json and then it should save it to SharePoint. 
It's fine if I save it as csv (FileName.csv) but some files I need as Excel. Anyone can help how to do it. If I save it with .xlsx extension the files is broken.
