Coalesce Function to Update a DataCard

Hi,

I'm following one of Reza Dorrani's video (Create Multi select Checkboxes in Power Apps for SharePoint List Forms | Radio, List Box control (youtube.com)) to create a form. Everything in the video is pretty clear and I can follow along well, but I'm stuck with the part where there's an change to Update function of a DataCard.

Essentially, I created a check-box (as per the instructions) and have a variable assigned on its OnCheck and OnUncheck function. Refer screenshot. This works fine.

The problem is when I go and change the Update function of data card with Coalesce. This doesn't work.

I get the error saying that 'This formula uses scope which is not supported for evaluation. Even in the YouTube video I can see the error, but it seemingly goes away.

Any help how to properly use the Coalesce function in this case? Thanks

I fixed the problem myself. For anyone ever in similar boat, the problem was that my SharePoint column was not selected to accept multiple choices. I deleted the data card, refreshed and followed the instructions again. Worked fine. Cheers.
