Copilot (Preview) component to query a Dataverse table: 30 records limit

Hello,

I was trying the Copilot component in the Power Apps to query a Dataverse table and was asking basic questions about my data. It turns out that the Copilot only returns 30 records from the table at most when I ask it to list the records that satisfy a specific condition. Even though it acknowledges that the result should contain more than 30 records, it somehow returns the top 30 records.

I am currently using a Developer environment. Could this limitation be linked to my license tier? Would upgrading to a Premium license allow for full access to Copilot's capabilities, particularly in retrieving larger number of records from a Dataverse table? Thanks in advance.

The Copilot component is designed to answer questions about the data. I don't think its intended to be used as a query component. So I think the 30 record limit is probably built in, but I couldn't find any specific documentation that mentioned that limit. Let me forward your question on to the Product team to see if they can provide a better answer.

Hello,

have you managed to dig up an answer to this? I am seeing a 25 record limit on the data fetched from the Dataverse table. Hardly anything can be stated based on the random 25 record sample.... which so far makes the feature useless. Not expecting this to replace the Power BI dashboarding, but at leaast a bigger sample so our users can enjoy a natural language formulated queries. 500 record sample or 1000 would do much better.
