Application does not load or store data with open source excel 365

I understand that to share the powerapps application, the sources must also be shared, in this case an excel 365 file. I am sharing the excel file with editing permissions so that the saving of the records works, however when a person with permissions opens the file the application does not load the lists and does not store new records either.

How could I handle this problem?

Is there any way to share the excel file without Onedrive's automatic notification being sent to the email?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Select the file you want to share, click the ellipsis and then Manage Access:

Then under Direct Access, click +:

Uncheck the Notify people and enter the names you want to share the file with:

Thanks, your answer solves the second question.

About the fact that no data can be stored from the application when the excel file is open, is it a known problem or normal behavior?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Hope you are doing well.

    It's a normal behavior.

If the user open the file , it will be locked. So we can't write data in it with powerapps.

    Best Regards,
