Send An Email v2 Format Date as MM/dd/yyyy

I have a Flow using Send an email v2 when a new item is created in a SharePoint list

The SharePoint list has an ‘Event Date’ field in it and I want that date to be part of a Flow Send to email v2. It works but the Date field shows in the email as for example 2023-06-26. I would like to reformat the date in the email to show 06/26/2023. Is this possible.

Hi @mgleason

Pls use the below expression to change the format of datetime field:
formatDateTime(triggerOutputs()?['body/EventDate'],'MM/dd/yyyy')
here, triggerOutputs()?['body/EventDate'] is the field value from the trigger flow (item created or modified). You may change the field as per your need.
