Select not working in OnVisible of initial screen

I need to select a particular TextInput control when my app starts. I have Select(MyTextInputControl) inside the OnVisible of my screen. When I launch the app, focus is not set to the control. However, if I have a button or some other control that calls Select() on the control, it works fine.

Any ideas?

Have you tried using SetFocus() ?
Tried that out on my side by setting focus in the OnVisible for my screen and it selected my text input control.

SetFocus is def the function you want to use. This is really nice when using USB/Bluetooth scanners as well as you can force the input of your scanner to go where you actually want it to go.
