Excel column names not appearing?

Hi all,

I'm trying incorporate excel into Power Automate so that I don't have to hardcode certain portions. However it doesn't seem to be working.

Current item is the same as the name HM1, but the column names are not appearing if I use current item. Any ideas why? And I also can't seem to name my excel table "HM1" or any other number.

@jonw98 after the List rows present in a table action you'll need an apply to each with the input being value from the dynamic content box. The condition should then go inside that apply to each. The way you have it at the moment the flow has no idea which row in your table it is looking at.

    Hi @RobElliott ,

I have tried it, but I still can't seem to see the column headers. I modified the actions, variable filePath is an empty string at the start. I want to put a column header after/Current item/

And also, what exactly is stored in 'value'?Inked3_LI.jpg

@jonw98 the problem is also your table name in the list rows. You should just select the table you created in Excel. I usually leave this as Table1 or Table2 or whatever and don't rename them, at least not without saving and closing the flow then going back into it again. But the way you have entered it with CurrentItem won't work.

    Hi @RobElliott

The reason why I'm doing that is because I have an array of string with ["HM1", "HM2"...] and table names of "TableHM1", "TableHM2"... . Hence I wanna make use of the loop to go through each string in the array and extract out necessary information from each corresponding table.

I also tried to concat "Table" with the value of Current item but it didn't work.

Is there any ways that I can do that? Because I don't want to hard code the table name.

    Thanks!
