I have created a topic in the PVA chatbot which starts with a trigger phrase if the user input matches the trigger phrase it displays a message and then asks a multiple choice question. But if the user input does not match the trigger phrase it does not show the required message but shows default message "Sorry I didn't understand" followed by multiple choice question. How can I change this default message and redirect to another topic if the user input does not matches the trigger phrase.
Hi @admin2711,
When a user query doesn't match with any topic trigger phrase (so, no topic gets triggered, and the 'Multiple Topics Matched' system topic - "Did you mean..." - isn't triggered either), then the 'Fallback' system topic gets triggered.
The Fallback topic is customizable (note: if you're on the classic version of PVA, you first need to go to your bot settings to add the Fallback topic).
Also, if you use generative answers, the Conversational Boosting topic gets triggered before Fallback.
