Sorry, this seems so basic, but I cannot figure out how to connect to the dataverse from a Desktop flow. Tons of info on how to from Flow, so I can go that route if its not easy, just doesn't seem like it should be needed.
Yes, there's not much information on Desktop flows to Dataverse.
But there's a third party option https://www.cdata.com/kb/tech/dataverse-connect-power-automate-desktop.rst
If that is not feasible in your case then looks like the only way is to access Dataverse from Cloud flows and then call a Desktop flow from there.
