flow not triggering when List is updated

I have a flow that should trigger when the status column of my SharePoint List is changed to "updated". For some reason it is not triggering when I change the status column of an existing list item to test it.

    Hi @CROKat ï¼Œ

    Could you show me the expression of the condition you set in the trigger?

    Best Regards,

    Hi @CROKat ,

    That was not what I meant.

    You don't need that many controls.
    Set conditions in the trigger. When the Status of the item changes to 'updated', the flow is triggered to send the email.

    I did a test for your reference.

    In my scenario:

    vyetonggumsft_2-1709791424375.png

    Please try this expression:

    @equals(triggerBody()?['Status']?['Value'], 'updated')

    Best Regards,

    Sunshine Gu

    This worked perfectly. For whatever reason I had to start from scratch with my flow, but built it up the way you suggested and it works! thank you!

    Hi @v-yetonggu-msft! I have used your solution to avoid the loop but my flow doesn't run. I have put two following conditions:

    @or(equals(triggerBody()?['Approval_x0020_Level_x0020_calc'], 'L1'), equals(triggerBody()?['Approval_x0020_Level_x0020_calc'], 'L2'), equals(triggerBody()?['Approval_x0020_Level_x0020_calc'], 'L3'), equals(triggerBody()?['Approval_x0020_Level_x0020_calc'], 'L4'), equals(triggerBody()?['Approval_x0020_Level_x0020_calc'], 'L5'), equals(triggerBody()?['Approval_x0020_Level_x0020_calc'], 'L6'))

    @equals(triggerBody()?['RequestStatus'], 'New')

    Could you have a look into it?

    I forgot  to add that my flow should trigger when the column Approval_x0020_Level_x0020_calc is updated and there is approval level assigned according to the formula in Sharepoint list so Approval_x0020_Level_x0020_calc is calucated column.
