Hi all,

I have a component Navmenu and I am trying to use the launch function through the component to open Outlook to send an email to clientgallery.selected.email. I have tried with variables and hardcoding but keep getting the error 'colliding types', does anyone know how to make it possible?

TIA 🙂

    Hi @JohnM86 ,

    Try the below:

    Launch($"mailto:{ReferenceToEmailAddress}")

Obviously ReferenceToEmailAddress will need to be replaced with a reference to the Email address.

Thanks for your response, however, it still has the same issue

    Hi @JohnM86 ,

I see the issue now. You are trying to use the launch function to set a screen type which will not work.

You may consider creating a new screen with the proposed formula in the OnVisible property. Then insert the name for this screen in your errornous formula so that when the user navigates to that screen, the Email dialog is opened.
