Support Needed for Numbering Items from a SharePoint List in a HTML Table

Hi everyone,

Hi everyone,

I am working on a new flow that pulls a list of tasks from a SharePoint List, converts it into an HTML table and then automatically sends this list to a group chat on Microsoft Teams. I can't seem to figure out how to number the rows (just simple indexing where the first row is labelled 1, second row labelled 2 etc.). I have tried a few different options I have found online, but nothing seems to be working for me.

Here is a screenshot of my flow:

Any thoughts or guidance would be greatly appreciated as I am quite stuck on this one.

Thank you!

    Hi @MGIOSEFFI,

A list would have an ID field value for each item. Is there a reason why you are not reusing that field in your Select action?

Hi @Expiscornovus  thank you very much for getting back to me! The "ID" isn't really helpful information for the HTML table I am trying to pull together. It's the "Title" that myself and my team are using. However, let me know if there is a particular reason I should be using "ID". I am trying to figure out how to get numbering in my HTML table so that people could refer to task #1, task #2 etc. as opposed to having to type the full tasking title.

    Hi @MGIOSEFFI,

I am proposing to use this column because it already has the number values in it and it is an easy thing to reuse/refer too.

Btw, the title is still there, I did not remove that. It is in the second row of the screenshot with the Tasking Name label.

And you can rename that key from ID to Task #, if you want to give it a different name.

Below is an update example, if that helps?

The output looks like the below

@Expiscornovus I wasn't even aware this was an option, so thank you for this! My issue is that since I am filtering for only certain items in my SharePoint list, I am getting random numbers for the "ID" output such as 251, 257 etc. Is there a way to just simply number the items in my HTML table 1, 2, 3 etc.?
