Hi, I want to create a follow up task, when a task is completed. based on user input(yes/no) in dynamics365.

Please let me know if you know how to create a MS flow for this or workflow in dynamics365.

I can easily create a workflow to create a follow up task when any task is completed. But don't know about the user input. Meaning that "when a user mark a task as completed, it should ask that user that if you want to create a follow up task. if user say "Yes" then it should get all the info from that task and create a new follow up task. if user response "No" then not to do anything.

Hi @eahmed, I think you should do the below.

1. Create a new two option field "Follow UP".
2. When a task is marked completed i.e. when the value of the status field is completed run a JavaScript to show a pop up which will ask the user if they want to create a follow up task, if the user selects yes set the "Follow UP" field to yes.
3. Run your flow on change of this new follow up field, put a condition in your flow to check if the task has status completed.

I don't know/ have the java script code/file for this. if you have it can you please send it to me. ALso let me know what steps we need to follow for that java script file.

Does anyone has any other solution other than java script file. Can it be possible via #Powerautomate
