I get the following error below when I try to create a new Instant Cloud flow.  Any idea why the error keeps popping up?

AI-powered editing can't be used for this flow yet

This flow won't work with AI-powered editing yet because it:

  • Contains an unsupported trigger

Here is an example of what is happening with a simple SharePoint selected item trigger.

    Hi @arvobowen ,

The new designer can't handle all the different triggers right now.  Simply click on the "..." in the top right and switch to classic mode and build/test there.

Wow!  I can't believe that was so easy to fix.  For new people just starting to use it and not even knowing there is a "classic mode", it would have been a great idea to give a little more info on that error.  Even just something like,

    • Contains an unsupported trigger, try using Power Automate classic mode.

I can't seem to find that place to switch to classic mode though.  At the top right I see this.  No three dots at the top right.

Actually, it looks like I'm already in the classic mode.  So why would I get this error in the classic mode then?

    Hi @arvobowen ,

Please click on the flow and edit.  Inside the new designer you will see the three dots in the top right.  If this was helpful, please mark as a solution as this is a common question and doing so will help others find our discussion and solution.  Thanks in advance!  Tom

See my previous reply.  I think I posted right before you did.  😉

So doing some research, I think it forces you to use the classic mode when you create certain types of flows.  And even this flow trigger is not support by classic maybe?

The funny part is, I was just following a tutorial on a YouTube video where the guy is doing the same exact thing with no issues.  I'm very confused as to why my experience is different.

    Hi @arvobowen ,

Understood, we posted at the same time.  Try this, it works in my test.  At the end of the url of the current flow in edit mode, add &v3=false and you should now be able to edit.

Currently in the URL I already have this at the end for the variables.

    ?v3=false&reason=fromV3

Remove that and replace with &v3=false

Ahh that's what I was thinking and just tried.  So basically this is just a cosmetic error right?  The only thing that seems to change is the warning that is shown at the top of the UI now being gone.

I was hoping to see a difference when continuing with the tutorial.  After creating the flow, he goes back to his list and it shows up under the Automate dropdown.  But I can't see to make that happen for me.  🤔

In the tutorial he saves the flow successfully...

    arvobowen_0-1701796148407.png

then he goes to his list and clicks the Automate dropdown...

    arvobowen_1-1701796215129.png

    Waits a second...

    arvobowen_2-1701796235291.png

    Waits one more second...

    arvobowen_3-1701796256617.png

And then it shows up for him to click on.

For me I save it now with no warning (thanks for that)...

    arvobowen_4-1701796319061.png

Then go back to my list and no mater how long I wait, I see nothing show up.

Not even sure how to test the flow at this point...
I can't do it from the list, and I can't do it from the flow edit UI.
