Populate a Microsoft Word Template doesn't work on Rich Text Control

I am trying to populate a Microsoft word template, the function can detect Plain Text control, but not Rich text control.
Even with the simplest file containing only one Rich Text Control.

Attached is the error code that I received.

Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, this is a known limitation — the Populate a Microsoft Word Template action in Power Automate only supports Plain Text Content Controls, not Rich Text Controls.
    💡 Workarounds:
    • Replace Rich Text controls with Plain Text controls in the Word template (recommended for stability).
    • Use a third-party connector (like Encodian or Plumsail) that supports rich text and advanced formatting.
    • Alternatively, generate an HTML file dynamically in Power Automate, then convert it to Word or PDF using a connector.
    • For full control, use an Azure Function to programmatically populate the document.

There’s no native fix yet — hopefully Microsoft will expand support in future updates
