I created a flow to save attachments received in outlook to Sharepoint using Create file.

However, when I tried to view the file saved in Sharepoint, I received an error message and could not view it.How do I save it so I can view the file?

    Hi @st2022,

Add get attachments action before creating a file, I think this will solve your issue.

    Hi @carloxvii

Thank you for an answer.I have one more question.
Why doesn't using only Create File save correctly?

When we're getting it directly from the trigger, we are only getting the attachment name while its content is empty. That's why when you're creating the file previously, you can't open it because it's corrupted.

    Hello @carloxvii

I have the same problem with my flow saving an attachment to a SharePoint.

My problem is that the save file does not open with this error:
"Cannot open this workbook because the file format may not match the file extension."

I also noticed that my flow tries to save the file twice with the "Apply to each" action.

And in the version history of on SharePoint, I find that there are two versions but not with the same file size.

Do you have any idea about the cause of this problem? and potential solutions?

I tried your solution with no success

Thank you in advance for your feedbacks!

After quite some research I realised it was caused by a small oversight in the very first step.

The included attachment is defaulted to 'No', and should be 'Yes'.

Don't know why, then the email still got filtered out but without attachments - so the created files are empty or invalid.

This is like a man-made design error. See attached picture:
