Good afternoon everyone,

I'm looking for the best/most straightforward (cheapest?) way to populate a dynamic pdf form (made with pro DC) using Power Automate.

So I have a form with fields like:

and want to fill the fields using power automate.

What has everyones experience been with this? Any tips/tricks? , I'm looking at the Adobe PDF Services | PDF Tools APIs | Adobe Acrobat Services - Adobe Developers but I dont see populating/filling dynamic pdfs on the list so I'm hesistant to look further.

Thanks for informing!

Hey @SudeepGhatakNZ , thank you for your response!

Thank you for your response and suggestion, I did come across this method and found it the most viable second option. But as we already have dynamic forms (as a dynamic .pdf with forms) and not html code I was hoping I could just get content of the pdf and fill it. I've seen multiple paid API's that provide this function but find it hard to believe such a basic thing requires an outside PA subscription.

A sidenote now that I was writing this, there is an option to convert the dynamic pdf to html, which might be worth a try!

    Thanks again!

Hi! Converting PDF to HTML, filling it, and then converting it back to PDF may by quite a time-consuming way to automate the flow as the result is not always predictable. I would stick to the simple filling of a ready-to-use PDF form. If you have a paid premium subscription to Power Automate, you can use the connectors included into it, for example I found this one though did not check how it works:

But if you do not have it, you need to use a third-party tool with a separate subscription. Beside Encodian, I would advise to consider Plumsail Documents as well. Here is a how-to article about the action you need.
