Where is my chart?

I have a custom entity in the dataverse and it has a chart.

In a model driven app I have created a classic dashboard.

I click to add a chart to my dashboard, choose my entity and am then told there are no charts. But I just made the chart. I've tried lots of combinations of saving/publishing the chart and solution, but nothing makes the chart appear.

What could I be doing wrong or have missed?

System or User Dashboard?

System or User Chart?

Presumably you're a system administrator (since you said you created)?

Sounds like you're not doing anything out of the ordinary, so just confirming your scenario.

I think I'm using a system chart and a system dashboard. How can I tell? I am an admin on the system.
One other thing worth mentioning is that the chart can be added to a dynamic dashboard, but I need a classic one for the more flexible layout.

It looks like you can't add a Doughnut chart to a classic dashboard. I tried adding a pie chart instead and it worked fine. I tried adding my doughnut chart to a dynamic dashboard and that worked fine.

So I think, but maybe someone can confirm, doughnut charts are not supported by classic dashboards.
