Trigger when Excel cell changes

Hi Everyone,

I am new to PA and am struggling a bit tbh. I have an Excel spreadsheet in SharePoint that is modified by approx 10 people. I would like to trigger an action based on the value of a cell in a column changing, but have no idea where to start.

Can anyone send me off in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

Workaround for "When an Excel row is created", "When an Excel row is modified", and/or "When an Excel row is deleted" triggers

This template triggers some time after users edit an Excel workbook in SharePoint & then for the target Excel table, returns a different set for records that were created, records that were modified, & records that were deleted. This way we can set up additional actions & processes for each edit users made in our target Excel table.

    Thanks Qi,
I will certainly review the out-of-the-box trigger solution. To give you some context to what I am looking for. I have an Excel document in SharePoint and I would like to monitor for any inserted rows within a worksheet (and trigger an action) and monitor the value of a column cell to trigger an action when it changes from "No" to "Yes".

    Is this possible?

    Kind regards,

    Matt

    Hi @mattps,

Do you want to trigger a flow once a cell is modified in your excel table?

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Actually, we have an out-of-the-box trigger as below:
