Flow Run Failed

Hello, I am wondering if someone can assist me. My team has attempted to sit up a flow, but the flow run keeps failing. Below is the error message that pops up.

SWatkins19_0-1661956809011.png

These are the specific error details:

The execution of template action 'Apply_to_each' failed: the result of the evaluation of 'foreach' expression '@{triggerOutputs()?['body/resourceData']}@{triggerOutputs()?['body']}@{triggerOutputs()?['body/resourceData/responseId']}' is of type 'String'. The result must be a valid array.

I did not set this up and am not sure how to fix it. Any advice?

Thanks.

Sharria

This was probably built using a template or an internet article that is outdated.  When the Forms trigger was first introduced it would return multiple forms when it was triggered.  So you had to process an array of forms even if there was only one submission.  Microsoft updated the trigger a long time ago to trigger for every form that was submitted.  So the Apply to Each loop is no longer required to process the responseID because it no longer comes as part of an array.  Remove the loop and just do a get response details action, which is probably what is in the loop in your flow.

Thank you very much. How would I go about removing the loop ?

You can delete the loop itself using the '...' menu in the upper right corner.  Be aware that will delete all the actions inside the loop as well.  You'll need to recreate those actions after you remove the loop.
