I am working on an Automated Flow with "When a work item is updated" trigger.

This needs "Organization Name" and "Project Name" as required values.

I have a use case for triggering a flow for work items updated from any of the Team Projects / Projects in the Organization.

is there a logic to pass "All" projects as required parameter as wildcards or to bypass the Project parameter ?

Hi @ajaydanait

Project name is a mandatory field so it expects a valid project name. I don't think thats a possibility to by pass it. You may need to explore webhook/REST API of Azure DEVOPS.

What I have seen is that webhook/REST API of Azure DEVOPS is also project specific i.e. they need to be configured by Project and not across Organization.

This means we cannot have a Organization specific webhook but only configured at Project level.
Does this mean we cannot have a flow that would monitor the "Work Item" updates across an Org and have Flows for the update trigger ?

Yes thats more like it. I would say it could be security reasons not allowing for all projects.

More than security , I feel its performance.
Power Automate more likely not to handle the large load of work item updates across multiple projects.
Its still an infant baby to handle more complex workloads.

If you looking more on Enterprise level then look for Azure Logic Apps. Yes I agree it could be performance as well.

How to update the Requested By and Targeted Date columns in Backlog work item? It is allowing only a few fields like "Title, Description....."
