Difference between Power Automate Desktop and Power Automate Cloud

I have some questions need to be clarified

1. Can we execute unattended RPA flows in Power automate desktop if yes then is there a specific license for it to buy coz on the website in the pricing section only cloud flows pricing is present

2. Does power automate fully work on cloud or we can have a On Prem Setup like VM's on which we can install power automate and run the flows

3. If we wish to have a On Prem Setup of Power automate then what is the step by step guide to do it. Is there a manual regarding this ?

    1. Power Automate Desktop, if you want to run it unattended, requires an additional purchase. You want the things here that solely state, "Run desktop flows in unattended mode". https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

    2. Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop are different. Power Automate is not RPA, and runs fully on the cloud, you can not install it - though it CAN connect to things like network drives with gateways, and it CAN call to Power Automate DESKTOP, which DOES need to be installed.

    3. All you need to do if you want to use Power Automate Desktop (RPA, not at all the same as the Cloud product), is install it on your VM and learn how to use it.

It's very common that we have folks come in and wonder why their Power Automate looks so strange compared to what people post here -- it's because they are 100% different products; the only similarity is that they are workflow tools, but totally different types.
