Send an email from a shared mailbox - 404 error

I'm trying to figure out why I can't send an email from a shared email account.

I have nominated two owners of the flow, myself and another colleague. Of which the colleague has access to a shared email account that we want emails to be sent from in our flow. I keep getting the error:

"status": 403,
"message": "You are not authorized to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account.

Even though my colleague has permission to the email account I've designated in the From(Send As).

Anyone else having any issues with this?

    Hi @Anonymous,

    Do you have access to send mail on behalf of the specified shared mailbox?

    Please check if you are a member to the specified shared mailbox and if you have the send as permissions in mailbox in the admin center below:

    To answer your question, I don't specifically have access to send email from the Shared Mailbox. But I've assigned Colleague2 as an owner in the Flow. Colleague2 has access to send email from the Shared Mailbox we'll call "ACP". And it is from ACP that I wish to send emails from through the Flow.

    As an aside, I also have access to a shared mailbox we'll call "PI". I have verified that I can send emails using the Flow Shared Mailbox action and it sends from mailbox PI.

    Again, my problem is that I want the mail to come from the ACP mailbox and it is not working.

    Does this potentially have something to do with setting up or assigning new owners to the Flow? Does the original creator (me) of the Flow have more authority then subsequent Flow Owners (Colleague2) added after the Flow is created?

    Additionally, my Flow Home (landing page) is different from yours and I don't have the ability to see which shared mailboxes I have access to in Flow. In the second image below I also tried going into the Admin Centre via the 'gear icon' and I didn't see what you have on your screen.shared mailbox1.JPG

    @v-yuazh-msft UPDATE:

    After my IT team added me to the ACP email account the flow worked flawlessly.

    My thoughts - It appears Flow doesn't treat owners of Flows all the same? Does it matter who actually creates the action step in the workflow?

    To check this theory, I'm going to get removed from the ACP email account, and I'll let Colleague2 add the workstep in the flow to see if that fixes the problem.

    @v-yuazh-msft UPDATE:

    After removing me from the ACP mailbox, and still ensuring Colleague2 had access to the ACP shared mailbox the flow failed.

    It appears that if you add owners to the Flow, it doesn't grant you access to their email or any shared mailboxes they have access to. I believe this is strictly restricted in the "Connections" section underneath the "Owners" section of the flow.

    Is there an upgrade coming that will fix this? The current option of using a Generic shared mailbox account like "Microsoft Flow and PowerApps", or my name, or an irrelevant email account is not feasible for business.
