Sharepoint "Create File" changing "File Contents" to "Body"

I'm creating a flow that includes a "Create file" step.  I initially populate the "File Content" field with "File Content".  However, after I save and then return to the flow, "File Content" has somehow changed to "Body" (which makes the resulting file corrupt).  Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Before I save the flow:

After I save the flow:

Powerautomate -- After Save.PNG

    Hi @JNoh ,

Could you tell me that the "File" in front of [Body] is also saved in it?
    If its like this,
This can cause problems with file content.

Another possibility is that the file name has no suffix, please check whether the file suffix is included in the File Name

    Best Regards

Very good catch!  Yes, "File" was some included before Body.  "File Content" still changes to "Body" when I save, but the flow seems to be working so far.  Thanks!

I'm having a similar issue where "File Content" will change to "Body" but as an attachment to an email that comes from an approval. This essentially corrupts the file and no matter how many times I try to switch it back to "File Content" it will flip to "body" and not work. Any help?

I am having the exact same problem, and results in a blank PDF attachment in my flow. Not sure how to solve it 😞

this is definitely NOT solved. same issue here. get excel file content -> create file with "File content" (replaced with Body).

Resulting file has 1 row of data, whereas copying file has many rows. adding delay doesn't help

I love how all Microsoft help pages are just a bunch of people saying yeah I have exactly the same problem and a bunch of admins going here's a link to another thread of people saying they have the exact same problem and no resolution and then asking if they can close as resolved. These forums are so often a complete waste of time and generally end up finding the resolution from a random non microsoft you tuber instead.

I found a bit of a work around.  In true PowerApps style, something that was working perfectly fine suddenly stops working.  You spend hours on trying to see what changed only for it to just start working again.......

If you build your flow, and then "test" the flow instead of just running it.....it works!!!!!

Nothing else changed, everything else is exactly the same.

    File content sticks!

    Good luck out there peeps

    Hi,

I had a similar issue and found a solution that seems to work for me. I added a 'Compose' step right after the 'Get File Content' step, using 'File Content' as the input. Then, in the 'Create File' step, I used the output from the 'Compose' action. This approach has worked for me and prevents the content from switching back to 'Body'. You might want to try this and see if it resolves your issue. Thank you.
