Hello,
I want to use an Approval with two custom responses. The first response is "Validated" and the second is "Needs more work." When a submitter receives either response in Teams, it shows as Completed.
If you open the approval, you read the full story, but my concern is that people will glance at the activity summary in Teams, see "Completed," and never look any further.
Here's the full approval message.
As a result, I've changed over to using the Approve/Reject approval, which doesn't let me have custom approval types, but at least I don't send a misleading message to the Teams Activity list.
Has anyone found a way around this? Can the custom response approval form be configured to send something besides "Complete" at the end of an approval?
Thanks,
Anne
Hi, thanks for responding. I tested it using the custom responses waiting for all responses, and Teams shows "Completed" no matter which choice the approver chooses. I wish it had worked. I guess I'll just have to use the Approve/Reject choice.

@annetoal I hope you have selected below option for approval action, if its the other wait for one response then irrespective of the response it would show as completed and looks like that's the case
