Hello Community,

is it possible to add a standard field (i.e., automatically added to a Custom Entity) in a Custom Entity View? I think it should be, I just can't figure it out how?!

(I am new in PA and I am buildnig first app - learning by doing, I am using comunity plan as a research enironment; keeping costs down)

    Hi @RMC-Pro,

Not out-of-the-box, but you can achieve that by writing a custom plugin that triggers on create of a view (savedquery) which automatically adds that field to the view layoutxml.

More about customizing view with the SDK: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/developer/customize-dev/customize-entity-views

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @RMC-Pro

Just to clarify, are you talking about this type of custom entity view? If so, it might just be the case that you haven't selected the 'all' filter option.

Easy! I thought @RMC-Pro you meant to add a column automatically when a view is generated!
