Hello,
I would like to know if Power Automate will automatically block a record in D365 Business Central during the approval process. I know one can have e-mails be sent out automatically, but I would like to know if this will have any effect on the system.
For example:
Can the Sales Order then be posted by the user, or is it locked as it would be using Business Central approvals? Thanks you.
Once an approval is sent by BC approvals or Power Automate the sales order is pending approval. Meaning it cannot move on until a user has the approval approved, rejected or cancelled.
In terms of blocking the this is baked in to what I just described. Posting can only happen once the sales order is marked as released. That only happens if the approval is approved of course.
You can add a step to post the order after approval if that is required.
